Teacher Training
Program

Become a Romana’s Pilates International instructor and experience the full depth of the original method, guided by a living lineage of expert teachers.

The Pilates Studio in The Hague has been a leading center for Romana’s Pilates International education since 1999, when Marjorie Oron was appointed by Romana Kryzanowska to establish the program in Europe. Since then, hundreds of instructors from all over the world have trained here and continue to return to deepen their knowledge, refine their practice, and stay connected to the work.

Recognized worldwide for its rigor and depth, the program covers the complete system of exercises on all classical apparatus and the mat. Throughout the program, participants develop the technique, principles, and teaching skills of the pure Pilates method, enabling them to teach safely and effectively at the highest level. The training spans approximately 1.5 years and includes seminars, hands-on practice, observation, and written and practical examinations.

Romana’s Pilates International works with a clearly defined system of instructor levels. The program at The Pilates Studio is led by Jane Poerwoatmodjo, a highly experienced Level 3 Instructor Trainer, together with Marjorie Oron, a Level X Master Instructor Trainer, the highest level in Europe. Together, they oversee and guide the education program, ensuring its continuity.

After certification, instructors join an international community that supports ongoing learning through annual CPE requirements and optional workshops led by Romana’s Pilates International Master Instructor Trainers. Highly regarded and in demand worldwide, Romana’s Pilates International instructors have strong opportunities to teach in studios across the globe.
