The Pilates Studio, the first pure Pilates studio in the Benelux

The Pilates Studio was the first pure Pilates studio in the Benelux. Up until today we are still the only certified education centre in the pure method in the Benelux. The pure method was passed on by Romana Kryzanowska, heir of Joseph Pilates. The Pilates Studio has two studio's, one in The Hague and one in Rotterdam. We are open five days a week and offer both private- and grouplessons. 

Pilates is an exercise method for the entire body. With Pilates you work on finding the ultimate balance between mind and body and the connection between strength, suppleness and control. All exercises with Pilates are build from the "Powerhouse", which includes the abdomen, lower back, buttock and inner thighs. Practicing Pilates results in a powerful, flexible body with streamlined muscles, a good posture and a good awareness of the body. 

The advantages of the method are recognized by doctors, physiotherapists and chiropractors. It is effective in preventing injuries and often plays an important role in the healing process after injury.
