Marjorie Oron

Marjorie Oron, is a pioneer of the Pilates method in the Benelux and owner of the Pilates Studios in the Hague and Rotterdam. She is a graduate of the Dance Academy Rotterdam and a former dancer of Djazzex in The Hague and the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York. The Pilates Studio in the Hague was not only the first to teach Pilates in the Benelux, but it is the first instructor training centre in Europe to teach the pure Pilates method as created by Joseph Pilates. Marjorie Oron gives many international seminars and, as Romana’s Pilates Trainer Level 2, Marjorie is qualified to take instructor examinations. |
Jane Poerwoatmodjo

Jane Poerwoatmodjo is a graduate of the Dance Academy Rotterdam. She danced with a number of companies including, Djazzex, Montreal Dance in Canada and Conny Janssen Danst. She received her Pilates training at the Pilates Studio in the Hague and at seminars given by Romana Kryzanowska, Sari Mejia Santo and Juanita Lopez. She qualified as a Pilates trainer in 1998 and has worked at the Pilates Studio since then. She teaches at the Dance Academy Rotterdam and at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague. Jane Poerwoatmodjo is a partner in the Pilates Studio in Rotterdam and a Romana's Pilates Level 3 Trainer.

Henry Rushing

Henry Rushing began his training at the dance academy in Stuttgart at the age of 16. After graduating he danced with a number of companies including the Stuttgarter Ballet and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf. His career as a performing dancer spanned 20 years. He then successfully completed his degree as dance instructor at the Dance Academy Rotterdam. Henry Rushing is a Romana’s Pilates Senior Level 5+ Trainer. He has coached and trained dancers at Danceworks in Rotterdam since 2000. In addition to the Pilates sessions he gives at the Pilates Studios in the Hague and Rotterdam, Henry also teaches Pilates at the Dance Academy Rotterdam. |
Jasmin Strohmaier

Jasmin Strohmaier graduated as dancer and dance instructor at the “Dance Highschool of Nicki Kontaxaki" in Athens in 2004. She began her Pilates training in Greece and followed seminars at the "Studio Pilates de Paris" given by Philippe Taupin. She completed her Pilates training at the Pilates Studio in the Hague and has worked there as an instructor since 2007. |
